Trentino’s biological garden

   The “Valle di Gresta” is bound south and as such, benefits from the climatical influence from the Garda lake. The valley forms a triangle shape with the planes of Loppio (alt. 220m) and the mountaintop of the monte Stivo (alt. 2050 m ). Its characteristics are a series of terraces, each of wich harbours a inhabited centre. Other characteristics are it’s mild climate and the extremely pure air from the famous “Ora” winds coming from the Gardalake. Therefore thevalley is especially indicated for resting periods. Our B & B is housed at Ronzo Chienis, alt. 1.000 m . , it is the last village in the valley and surrounded by beautiful mountains, endless fields and undefiled nature.

The Valle di Gresta is therefor a kind of isle, climatological privilaged. Not only in the way it’s exposed to the sun, which makes the valley particulary bright, but also the quality of the air, extremely pure, make that the area is very favourable to agriculture even at high altitudes.

On the images above, you can see a glimse of Passo Bordala (3km from B&B),  amidst the white and blue reflections of the rocks, the different colors of our agriculture will strike you,  from the numerous varieties of potatoes, over the sweet carrots, to many other vegetables. Even our own farm has many fields in this area (some of which can be seen on the pictures). For more then 17 years now, we have been cultivating only through biological agriculture. To our hosts we offer the possibility to visit our fields and to give you some information about our work.

The health of the final products us guaranteed by frequent en rigorous controls on the field as on the farm.
